We offer all businesses an affordable and highly effective banner advertising campaign. You may submit up to two banners per business account.

To submit a banner you will need to create a business/trade user account with us, then come back to this page and submit your banner. Once your banner is approved you will receive an invoice and payment instructions. Normally banners have an integrated linked web address (that you supply during the banner submission process) which will send the visitor direct to a web site of your choice when they click on your banner. • 30 days campaign or 10,000 impressions - £15

• 60 days campaign or 20,000 impressions - £20 (save 15%)

• 90 days campaign or 30,000 impressions - £35 (save 20%)

• 120 days campaign or 40,000 impressions - £45 (save 25%)

• 180 days campaign or 60,000 impressions - £60 (save 30%)

Advertising on the eBystander site

You can advertise your company/organisation products and services by placing a banner at one of a number of prominent locations on the eBystander website. There are four main banner zones which appear on ALL pages on our website (i.e. they are always displayed on each and every page displayed on our website), plus you can also place targetted banners (Zone 5) on the business directory and/or classified sections pages which specifically relate to your business or commercial area (e.g. you could place your banner advert for Garden Machinery on all sections and sub-sections and pages of Home & Garden - so anyone searching for anything under Home & Garden will see your banner displayed under each sub-section and on each and every page and advert within these sections.

Main Banner Zones (Zones 1 to 4)

There are four main banner Zones. Each of these Zones appears EVERYWHERE on our website - so whatever our visitors view, they will always see the banners in these zones.

Targetted Banner Zone (Zone 5)

You can place a banner advert to appear in any of our main categories within either the business directory, and or within the classifieds section The one shown below has been placed in the classifieds/computing section and will appear in all subsections and ads placed under Computing

How does our Banner advertising work?

When submitting your advert you can choose to purchase by page impressions (see explanation below) or by duration. If you select duration (e.g. 30 days), then your advert will appear on our site in the zone you have selected for 30 days from the date the advert first appears (note that each zone can have a limited number of adverts being displayed and your advert will share random display views with these adverts)

What are Page Impressions?

A Page impression is the result of a single visitor viewing your banner when it appears on the page. When your individual banner is displayed on the page to a "real" visitor then we record/count this event as a page impression against your banner. If you have purchased ten thousand impressions then your advert will appear ten thousand times before it will expire (Note that we only count your impression when your own advert actually appears to a site visitor - not other adverts which may also share the same zone).
